On the Fastrack to Meeting the Toothfairy

Morgan's first tooth made its debut this week- front and center! Among the many benefits of having teeth, let me just highlight a few:
  1. Morgan will not require dentures in the near future,
  2. She can now be an omnivore (that's a dinosaur that can eat both plants and meat),
  3. She will keep all our pediatric dentist friends in business (Philip, Bracken, Nick...)
  4. Cheerios as a snack may be closer than we think,
  5. Things can now be chewed instead of simply saliva-ed.
The pictures below demonstrate, much better than words, how we attempted (and failed- sorry Grandmas and Grandpas) to get a photo of the tooth.

CLEARLY, WE TRIED!!

I just wanted to throw in these last two pictures.
"Movie Star Morgan", and "The Easter Dress"

Morgan, Jane Austen and the Shake Shack

Some cute pics of our little Munchkin.

Morgan's favorite treat whenever we're out to eat.
Old Westbury Gardens. This was so pretty and fun! It was like living in a Jane Austen book. The grounds were gorgeous and the house was incredibly large.

This was the children's play house! As big as our apartment in the city!

This has been Morgan's obsession for the past few months ... Tags! She finds them on every toy and plays with them over anything else. Is this strange or normal for a baby?

We love sunny days.
This was uncharacteristic of us. We waited in a long line just to eat some famous food. We must say that we surprisingly think that it was worth it! The Shake Shack is all that it's cracked up to be.
Here's the line out the door and around the corner.

New Nickname

If you knew Morgan at 2 months old, you probably knew that her nickname, for good reason, was Chicken Legs. Now that she has beefed up, we can't call her that anymore. Because Morgan's hair has been growing in a certain way, it looks just like we gave her a mohawk haircut. So, Morgan received a new nickname courtesy of dad: Mohawk Morgan.
